ABOUT OUR THEME
The Fund’s mandate over the years has been to extend social security to as many members as possible.

It is now time for NSSF and the communities in which it operates to thrive, taking charge of enabling a secure financial future for all! Through the NSSF Amendment Act 2022, which was passed into law in March 2022, more Ugandans will now have a chance to save for their retirement and NSSF will make this possible. A better life is not limited to a select group, but open for all to benefit in saving toward retirement. Anyone and everyone deserve an opportunity to change the way their story ends. Smart Card: The Fund in partnership with Visa and Centenary Bank unveiled a three-in-one social security smart card which embeds NSSF functionality, bank functionality and a loyalty programme, the first of its kind in East Africa.

Hi-Innovator: The Hi-Innovator Programme is an innovative initiative, aimed at creating an ecosystem where the innovation of Small and Growing Businesses in Uganda can be harnessed and supported to mature into viable businesses, providing a pathway to the creation of work opportunities for women and youth in Uganda.
